There
was a lot to learn and think about in the Endangered Traditions
WebQuest. Reflect on what this experience was like for you as you
discuss the following questions with classmates.
-
Did you like playing your role or would you have preferred a different
role? Why?
- Was
your role at odds with how you really felt about the issues? Did
you have to support a position you didn't agree with?
-
Did your personal opinion about the development project change
from start to end? Did the WebQuest change your thinking about
any other subjects?
-
How would you rate your participation as a group and task force
member?
- How
well did the task force function? How did it handle opposing points
of view?
-
How well did the task force address the questions posed at the
start? How reasonable were the recommendations it made?
- Are
similar debates over development projects happening in your own
community? If so, what is your position about them? What can local
people do to make a difference in the outcome?
- What
are the main things you learned from this activity?
