You
are a well-known historian at a major university in the South.
You have spent years researching the history of slavery and have
written a book about the rich history of Charleston, South Carolina,
in the slave trade.
As
a historian, you value the past and think it should be preserved.
You have serious reservations about the proposed development project
because of what it might destroy. But you realize that land development
is changing the face of America everywhere.
Your
job on the task force is to educate members about the history
of the region. You hope that by sharing the lessons of the past,
you can convince the task force to somehow protect the region's
history or at least find a way to recognize and honor that past.
| You
are OPPOSED to the resort development. |
