Steps 13 to 14-Task Force Meeting
  • Reconvene the whole task force.

  • Make your group presentation to the task force. Involve all members in delivering the presentation.

  • Listen as other groups present. Consider what they say and try to understand their points of view. While listening to the other roles:
    • Write down main points made or big questions addressed.

    • Develop a list of points your role could support or reject.

  • After all five groups have presented their cases, engage the whole task force in discussion in order to reach a consensus about the development project. Everyone now works toward one response. Review the tips on how to find consensus.

  • When you reach consensus, prepare and present your task force consensus recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners (teacher). Use the template provided.

  • Review the assessment rubrics for evaluation of this step.
