You
and your classmates represent the task force and your teacher
represents the County Commissioners. There are five different
roles or viewpoints on the task force and each has a clear
position on the development project at the outset.
The
class is divided into five groups and each takes on one role.
To be an effective task force member, you and your role mates
must learn as much as possible about the background of your
position so that you can explain and defend your views to
the others. You do this by:
- conducting
research as a group
- completing
portfolio assignments as individuals
- preparing
and delivering a presentation to the entire task force as
a group
