Craig Harms

I'm 15 years old and currently participating in my freshman year at Beechwood Independent High School. I'm one in my immediate family of 6. The three most important people in my family, in no particular order are my mother, Toni Harms, my father, Steve Harms, and my brother, Richie Harms. My mother and father are the most motivating and encouraging people in my life, and my brother is a major inspiration. I also have two other inspirational siblings in my life, they just happen to inspire me in different ways; they are my brother, Trevor and my sister, Samantha.

Hobbies/Interest: sports, sports, and more sports. I constantly play sports, and when I am not participating in sports, I remain busy with schoolwork or school activities. I currently play baseball and football. These two sports take up the majority of my time during the year, except for a short period during the winter; however, I am interested in boxing during that period in the winter. I would like to get a job, to help pay for the necessities of owning a car or a truck. I also draw and write, but I can only do these hobbies when I am in the mood. Although I only stand at a whopping 5'4'' and 140 lbs, I like to work out and condition for sports. I also like to spend time chilling with my family and friends, and while together we do anything and everything.

Likes: I like food; I couldn't live without food, mmmmm… I also like sports, and that includes both watching and participating. I like learning interesting or funny facts that are connected to the world today. I prefer the Dew and Countrytime Lemonade compared to most drinks, although every now and then milk, which does the body good, my tastebuds when accompanied with some double stuffed Oreos. I like meeting new people too, this maybe something most people don't like though; but not like people who are totally different from me. I mean people that might be at a gathering, such as a football game that share common interests with me. Catch my drift? If not, sorry!! Basically the only thing I do during the summer is PARTY and play baseball.

Dislikes: I absolutely hate the color green. My mother loves it, but I don't follow in her footsteps on that; on the other hand another a dislike of mine, that I do get from her is my height. I am tired of being the smallest one in the crowd! I also dislike lame parties, like the ones where everybody has a girlfriend or a boyfriend and are off in their own little world talking to each other, instead of contributing to the fun, that's supposed to be there.

Favorites: Beechwood sports, mainly because of the coaching staff and personal relationships they build with the players. My favorite food would be crab legs or lobster. My favorite pets would be dogs, "Man's best friend," but I also like lizards a lot. My favorite type of automobile would be the Nissan Exttera, in a more general category I like SUV's. So more then likely my parents will get me a car or truck, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.
Unique experiences: I really don't know; I do many unique things, but somehow my friends and I always manage to top it with something bigger and better later on down the road.

Future plans: I plan to finish high school and attend college either with a sports scholarship or to enroll in a good premed school, then enter med school. In medical school, I would either study to become a doctor or a physical trainer for a sports team, and to help patients that can't always afford the treatment needed.

Why I joined TNT: The couple of things that inspired me to join the TNT program would be the enthusiasm to gain more knowledge about the underground railroad and the encouragement of my current World Civilizations teacher, Mrs. Drummey.
