Abolitionist Leaders

We (Nyema Ivey and Craig Harms) chose abolitionist leaders because we thought they were great leaders of the Underground Railroad. We chose the significant leaders Salmon Chase and John P. Parker, because they lived locally for sometime in their lives and interacted locally, leaving an impact making our society different today. Another reason we chose abolitionist leaders was because we thought their identity should be known since they were never talked about. We learned a lot about slavery and its history while doing this project. We hope you enjoy our presentations.
