Denise Dallmer, Professor

I am an education professor at Northern Kentucky University. I have taught at both the college level and the high school level. In the summer, I teach a class about the Underground Railroad for area teachers.

I am a member of the Institute for Freedom Studies at NKU and through my involvement with the institute; I have become interested in studying and learning about the Underground Railroad. So, when the Freedom Center asked me to be a part of TNT, I thought it would be great.

I enjoy traveling and have been to China, all over Europe, and across the United States. I haven't been to the Grand Canyon and that is one of the places I want to visit soon. I am an Ohio State University fan (GO BUCKS!) and besides the Buckeyes and traveling, I enjoy reading, going to movies, and spending time with my daughter.
