Tim Kraus

          Tim Kraus was born in Troy, Ohio and graduated from Tecumseh High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in History, Religion, and Philosophy from Manchester College and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati.

          He completed three years of graduate study in South Asian History and at the same time was a lecturer in U.S. History at Kansas State University. He is a member of the National Council for Social Studies (NCSS) and the National Council for the Teachers of English (NCTE) where he serves on the NCTE Commission on Media.

          In addition to his academic pursuits he has worked as a radio and video producer for nearly 20 years. His passions are travel, photography, video production, and history. He has lived and traveled in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
