Michael Rose, Librarian-Technologist, NKU.

Michael Rose has read numerous books and academic journals, some of which have been published in dozens of languages. He has also attended conferences which have drawn audiences from across the United States.

Michael feels communication is important and stays connected with people across the globe through the medium of television. Michael watches various programs with the goal of understanding some of the exciting events unfolding in the world. He is also well versed in the use of the telephone and has been known to occasionally make long-distance calls.

Computers play a major role in Michael's career. Whether email or word processing, hardly a day passes without Michael touching a computer keyboard. He is employed by Northern Kentucky University where he has chosen librarianship as his career path.

Among Michael's many hobbies are fad diets, cat-napping, origami, and hatha yoga.
