Ex-Slave Migration

When we first started this program, we were both interested in researching the subject of Quilts. However, after numerous hours of researching, we came across the idea that it would be interesting to research information on slave houses along the pathway to freedom. So, we decided to title our subject as "Ex-slave Migration". These houses we researched helped slaves migrate to the north to freedom.

Choosing houses that are still standing today was the best part about this topic. Learning about the different houses that the fugitives traveled through throughout the United States was very interesting. We hope that you will find this information as interesting as we found it. As you browse through this website we hope we can help you out with any information you might be looking for.
